I'm REALLY Sorry about posting a new thread, But my PC craahes every time i open the "post new reply" buton to the original thread i posted.

Anyway, i have spent the last few hours reading a million reviews, and it looks like the best ones for me (for DJing and portable audio) are the V7506's.

(the Senn 25s are just too expensive, the 280s seem hard to drive and have a lot of differing opinions on sound quality, and the 7506s get thumbs up from everyone, which is Very unusual for a sony product, normal they get so much hate reviews).

But getting to the point, Where can i order them?

I live in ireland, so i can't get them from etronics, and a lot of "normal" places don't stock them,(amazon, etc)

And headphone.com don't even list any sony phones, so do you guys have anywhere you'd recommend?

(actually, i'm in sweden at the mo', so if by chance there is someonehere who knows of a good store in stockholm that would have them, feel free to say so!)

Again, sorry about the new thread, damn this piece of **** PC to hell!

And thanks to everyone who replied to my firts thread!

i think the Sony's are hard to find in Europe, maybe your better off with a pair of beyerdynamics?

By the way the Sony 7506's are same as the MDR-V6 model...exactly the same.

The sennheiser hd280 pro are very easy to drive and sound better. i dont know who told you that they were hard to drive?!? but the 280s are a bit big. you could find the 280s where you live im sure.

a1leyez0nm3, I've seen you say this many, many times (that the 280 sound better than the V6). While the 280 and V6 definitely sound *different* I don't know that I'd say one is definitely "better" than the other.

THe 280s are NOT relatively hard to drive. They are not as loud as the V6, but they do block out slightly more noise. THe 32db isolation spec is still a mystery to me, though. I'm still letting the 280s burn-in for 100hr to fully make up my mind on the sound.

Anyway you could get beyer 250-80s? Imho, the are MUCH Better than senn 280s. You are in Europe. . . so you might be able to get them for a good price. If not, the senn 280s are there. . . and I'm pretty sure they are made in Ireland. ..

My only probelm with the Beyer 250-80s is the price! its quite a bit more expensive than the Sonys or the senns...

I think out of the whole lot i've checked out, it really comes down to the 7506s, the 280s and the Beyers if they're cheap enough.

Everyone here pretty much agrees that they are all tough, good sound quality, and decent sound isolation. I guess it depends on who's cheapest and looks best!

Anyone have a favourite looks wise out of this lot?

Actually, is there anyone here that has the 280s and the v6s?

I might swing in favour of the 280s, but one serious consideration would be the bass, and some people don't think that the 280s have great bass, whereas one thing the V6s tend to get respect for is a full and exciting bass.

Just so you know: the camp here at head-fi is divided over the senn 280s. Some really like them. Some don't. I'm one of the latter. The beyers were just SO much better than the 280s. I'd audition them first(or buy from a place with returns) before settling on the 280s.
