Interested in a comparison between this and the R3 Pro.

i like how the r3 pro is a bit bigger so has a bigger screen and battery. and buttons instead of wheel

similar price as ap80 pro probobly

I own the R3 Pro and it really is a nice package. Just interested the AP80 Pro since it has a dual ESS DAC and a different sound flavour. Maybe it has a warmer sound and bass impact. I'm not good describing sound but the R3 Pro sounds clean, neutral but still being musical.

Well, I bought it directly from Hiby Store at launch and probably had lucky for not paying any customs fees.

they take orders from everywhere actually. but its customs nightmare (+covid19 situation) you'll probably wait around 4 -5 weeks.

In Europe they have sent the package to UK and then to Portugal to avoid customs. Not sure how it works to other areas but keep in mind now could be a nightmare due to Covid-19.

Apparently, the screen of the R3 can be inverted allowing you to choose whether the ports are on the top or bottom.
It just means that the buttons will be on the other side of the device (and inverted), so you'd have to learn a new layout.
