I own a pair of Klipsch RB-15 speakers and want to drive them by a really small tube amplifier. Are there any (headphone) amplifiers that are suitable to do this job?

I really would be more impressed by a small (for example) 2x5 'Watt' amp
than a really big one.

I still have a Darkvoice Figaro on order and wonder if such an amp can handle normal speakers.

Any suggestions?

The Dared MP-5 might be just what you're looking for.

You can't buy them new any longer, but you may be able to find one used.
Read the thread.

I have a Dared MP5 with a bunch of extra tubes that I would consider selling. Are you located in the US? I would have much difficulty shipping it outside the US due to the inability to insure it properly.

I just use a Sonic Impact T-amp with mine. It's good enough, and it's cheap.

skip the dared mp-5.

cayin ha-1 is a pretty darn good amp that does 2.2w in ultralinear and 1.4w in triode

i'd be a little bit concerned about whether it can power your speakers though. i remember it powered mine decently but they're a few db louder than yours

the dared is more powerful but i'm not a big fan of the sound. i'd rather get a trends ta-10 which is a tiny speaker amp that sounds very good. solid state though

Thanks HiFlight. The amp looks perfect for me but I would need a 230Volts version. I just briefly looked at the Dared website and there are more amp that may fit. I'll dig into it this weekend :-)
