I really want a Porta Corda, cheap, so if anyone is interested in selling theirs for less than retail, i'm game. I'm also willing to trade. I have Grado sr-60's as well as Sennheiser MX-400's.

Be careful what you ask for, Joe. I have an unopened ER.6, but unless your ears are forgiving, I can almost guarantee that they will be, for most people, uncomfortable.

Trade?

Er... trade? With what? Well I've got a pair of EX70

Hmm... are there any cases where people can wear the EX70 perfectly ok but can't wear the ER6?

Be careful of what you ask for, huh? You should just go like this:

Love my EX70, the newer version with the 3 sizes.

The trick, I found, is to use one of those pads, fitted to size on the ER.6, so that your ears will still be virgin.....

I see I see!

So you mean that you can fit the EX70 tips onto the ER6? What about the change / degradation in the sound?

Well you would have had to try on the ER6 tips to find out, right? Sorry, you can't preserve your ears, although I suppose you did prevent them from becoming full-time sluts

What would your pricing on the ER6's be?

As modded, it slips into a nice fit. If you snug them up for a perfect fit, there should b no outside sounds imploding with the traffic. No degradation.

As it is Ham Sunday hear/here, I gots to run, Joe. Speak to you about TRADEs N' such L8R. Alligator.

Joe, maybe we should avoid the carnage, and switch channels (altho it may not help, I had a dream Dubya nuked Saddam....).

Joe, I just noticed you have a pair of ETYs. Save your moolah, since you have them in for repairs, get the 4P cord. With a series resistance adapter you can get the 4S sound, as well.

The ER.6 pales, by comparison. An MG Head, with rollover, would complete your quest for audio head-fi nirvana.

PS The resistor loaded plug adapter from the PC ($10, from Jan) is an ideal alternative to convert from an 4P => 4S. No dnag! looong wires to cope with.

Fortune, YGPM.
