I've been humming and aahing over a Little Dot MKVI balanced amp. It looks like a good tide-me-over until the Woo W22 hits the streets.

One thing that would greatly help me get over the hump would be it's usefulness as a preamp in my speaker rig.

Is there anyone using their LDVI in this manner who would care to comment on how it's working out for them?

I don't know about the MKVI, but the MKIII is serviceable with one caveat. I use mine to drive a Van Alstine Insight 250 (Mosfet) amp and it runs horribly hot without a headphone plugged in as load. With my HD-650s plugged in, it works great. Sounds fabulous with my Magnepans too.

I'm about to do it. Haven't gotten the kit yet, everything is still on order, but I'm about to start playing with the LD6 feeding a Krell KAV-2250 in to Sonicap'ed Polk SDA-1C's. Not able to pick up the Krell until June 6, though.
