anyone using millet hybrid for gs1000?

i did it.

it works. pretty well too.

i have not had a good chance to run the k-1000 from a "proper" power amp, so i cant compare....

I haven't tried a GS-1000 yet, but I can say that the Millett Hybrid sounds pretty darn good with the HF-1 and RS-1. It likes Grados.

in my less than sober state last night, i mistread gs-1000 as k-1000.

i ahve not run a gs-1000 from teh millet.

i have run a k-1000, and an hp1000. the hp1000's with the correct tubes sound AMAZING from the millet.

which tubes do you recommend?

how about the soundstage/airy-ness on this? some amps tend to decrease the soundstage and make things rather congested..
