What do you think of the Synergy with this setup. I've already got the source and the phones but I am still in the market for an amp so I would be interested in anyones opinions.

I use nad c541i w/ hd600's. Instead of a meta I went the tube route in the Antique Sound Labs MG/OTL head. For interconnects (I lost my job) I went went the cheaper outlaw PCA's ... Which were a big improvement over the monster cables i was previously using. I wish I had more amp/source experience so I could give you descriptions of what I liked and didnt like but I just dont have that experience yet. I just know I love my headphone setup and aint nobody taking it away from me

My setup is pretty similar and all the components mate quite well with each other. Can't really find any faults with the NAD for the price. My meta is a bit analytical sounding but its rarely bothersome.

I have heard many times that the NAD c541i source is sometimes a bit on the bright side. Is it neccessary to use a tube amp to take the edge off the sound?
