Now that Tidal has a $9.99 price point to compete with Google Play Music, I was wondering if anyone uses it,? Or at that price point do people just stick with Spotify and Google Play Music?

I am curious if people find the 'standard' quality basically the same as GPM?

I was using the tidal standard (320kbps) for a couple months. In my case there was no point in getting lossless. I used it at work and while driving. Both scenarios are loud background noise and Bluetooth.

I felt the sound quality was a little better than apple music, and amazon prime music. Tidal also comes with the videos if you're interested in that.

In the end I would try it out for a month and see if the music collection matches what you like. If they don't have the songs you want then no point in paying.
