Anyone use Apogee Duet as a DAC/AMP combo?

I've just got a new Duet and find that the output are unbalanced. If I want to use it as a DAC/AMP combo, what cable do I need in order to hook up to my headphone.
I also try hooking up the headphone directly to the 1/4 output, and I actually find almost no differences without using the Duet. I've tried both SE530 and Denon D5000, I really cannot tell the difference.

The headphone output and the dongle output are more or less the same.  You can get RCA to TRS adaptors for the outputs to hook it into another amp.  You'll get better results that way than just using it as an amp itself.
