While I was searching for a headphone amplifier for my hd650 on eBay I came across this. Looks like bottlehead crack but I'm sure it is not. Does anyone has any experience about it? It has a affordable price with free shipping. (For me)

If it's a good amp, comparable to Crack or not; can't tell. But the way it is build. Being point to point with a spiderweb of unprotected wires. For sure i'd never like that in my house.

I have seen many cracks being made like that. That's why I thought it might be crack. But now I get your point, unprotected wires are dangerous.

Crack layout is different as the wires and parts are all neatly connected to terminal strips. This makes the Crack way more structured as well as safe (a short or wrongly aranged wire/part is easy to spot).
This is a Crack posted elsewhere on head-fi:

If your in doubt: did i mention it's on sale this weekend?

No sir you didn't... sounds good but right now, i haven't got a budget big enough for a crack. That sure do looks neat.... my eyes are not trained enough to see the difference on the spot but now i see.
