anyone running portable amp from x-fi?

err what do i set system volume when jacked into my amp? im about 50% with system volume and my microshar is set to 25 percent.

is this ideal or am i supposed to run 100 percent system volume into my amp?

Anywhere between 50 and 75% is fine. I always left it on 75%. I noticed distorting when cranked all the way to 100%
