the connectors cost

"Senn Connectors are S$90 per pair."

convert that to US dollars and they cost $63 for the pair.

Why not just wait for the cardas ones? They probably will cost next to nothing.

I'm guessing at least $30 for a pair

Sorry to burst your bubble man but I've been talking with Colleen Cardas about their Senn connectors for more than a year now and even have a pair of prototypes. I don't know what the exact price is going to be but know enough to say that they won't be cheap, nor should they be.

I have a few sets of plugs from haven. They run around $75 shipped to the US.

The cardas plugs will be cheaper, but the cheapest solution will still be stealing plugs off a stock senn cable.

when you steal the connectors off the stock cable, do you just cut the cables and connect the new cable to the short bit of the old cable?
