Looking for ear buds that will have an LED on the outside that flashes.
So, when walking my dogs at night, people can tell I'm wearing ear buds.
And won't think I'm ignoring them when they call out and I don't answer.

"Hey Man, get your ****ing dogs off my lawn" (I get that a lot)

If no ear buds, then maybe a lightweight/low profile Bluetooth ear muff dealio with LED?

I saw a post on Reddit that recommended the Sony WF-1000XM3.
So, I looked through some reviews and there were many people complaining about an LED on both buds that could not be turned off.
They complained that it was too bright.

Sounds great, so I ordered a pair. They used to sell for $200 but now that they're a generation old, they are about $100.
The downside is that while these are mid-fi buds, they are older and do not support APTx or LDAC or other codecs.

And WiFi and talk to text and video call and auto translate. I'd buy one

So, you think that if some stranger saw your head flashing in the dark they’d think “Oh, he’s wearing earbuds and can’t hear me”?
Kind of a silly question, don't you think?
If they are standing a couple feet away, their attention will go to my ears and there is a decent chance they'll recognize why I'm not talking back to them.
If they're shouting at me from across the street, then no they probably won't realize I'm wearing buds.
