For those of us who spend a lot of time on these and other boards and end up trying and buying lots of gear, you end up with a pretty good sense of who's making the best stuff and who isn't.

Just curious, do any of you invest in companies when you think they're making the best audio gear on the market?

Maybe that's why you aren't rich......

Me, I'm glad Headroom isn't publicly traded, because that way they can be nicer people without getting their asses sued by shareholders who want MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY NOW NOW NOW!!!

Same goes for all the other audio companies around here. Look at Sennheiser, they're almost certainly publicly traded, and *what* percent of their headphone line is decent?

Now, if only we could all get together and buy out Grado Labs so we could make them start manufacturing the Joe Grado line again...

...and break into the speaker market with John's insanely amazing headphone-driver-array.
