Recently bought the AKG 242 HD cans. I have been pretty satisfied with them for the most part. Not as much bass as I would like, but I realize thats to be expected with open cans. My second choice would have been the ATH-AD900s. I wont go as far as to say that I have buyers remorse. As the AKGs sound pretty good (I have never owned a pair of cans before) so I dont have much of a template to go on. However, I would like to know from anyone out there if they think the ATH-AD900 flat outclasses the AKG 242s? Any input would be appreciated, thanks!
