I need a fairly small tubed, stereo pwr amp (max 19"W x 17"D x 7" H) to fit inside an audio rack (9" high) and to drive some Von Schweikert VR1s (89db sensitivity) w/ powered VRS1 Sub.
I've been looking at the BAT VK-55 or the Audio Research VS55.
Anyone heard these or anything else that might fit in my rack and not burn the place down? AES six pacs are another possibility though I've been warned about high heat issues.
