After recabling my 325i, I am thinking of doing my RS-1 as well. Anyone here has done this??

take care when terminating the cable to the earphone. It's apparenlty easy to damage the coil wire.

I haven't gotten up the nerve to take either my 325 or 325i apart, but I can see what looks to be serious flux around the solder joints (more so in the 325 than the 325i). Any idea if what I'm seeing is indeed flux, or is some type of coating to protect the joints?
