The pup finally got to my 701 cable. I can splice it but would like to replace it. For any who got theirs re-cabled, did you get your old cable back and would you be willing to help out? Not asking for a freebie.
Anyone have their K701 re-cabled and have the stock one?

EDIT: I just called Merkertek and the Neutrik plugs I ordered aren't in stock. I was asked if the nickel plugs would do, and I said "Hell No!!". JK, but I did opt to wait for the gold Neutriks. They said it'll be a couple of weeks. Parts Express is out-of-stock on these too

I have a Jena Labs Ultrawire cable waiting to be installed on my K701's, as soon as my Neutrik plug gets here (hopefully today). I'll send a PM when it's installed. I won't be doing anything with the old cable.
