Hi all,

I've recently purchased the Lisa III XP and I'm waiting for it's arrival not without a little excitement.

Phil confirmed to me today that the current run is set to high gain.

My beloved Ultrasone Proline 750's are rated at 40 ohms.

I know there are Edition 9 owners using the Lisa III Xp and the synergy is very good.
Ed 9's are rated at 30 ohms. I'm not getting into SPL values at this stage..

That seems to suggest my 750's will be ok but I'd just LOVE to hear from anyone
who has heard or owns the Lisa III Xp and Ultrasone 750 combination.

Cheers
Mike

[size=medium]I don't own a Lisa (yet!) or the Pro 750, but there really is not a remarkable difference between 30/40 ohms of resistance. I wouldn't be concerned about it at all.

I own the Lisa's little sister, the LaRocco Pocket Reference MKII, which was formerly critically considered by some to be the best portable amp available. Now the Lisa has the throne in the eyes/ears of some . . . at least until Phil releases the Portable HeadCode (or PortaCode).

At least one 750 owner, Contrastique, drives her 750 with a Pocket Reference with great satisfaction. Your coming Lisa is even better.

Phil's amps tend to offer clean, transparent audio quality with enough power to serve as home amps. A true audiophile quality bass contour and a trickle charge feature are just two of the quality extras I have come to really appreciate. Enjoy your new amp!

Hi, thanks for that. I'm looking forward to the PortaCode also

My current portable is the Graham Slee Voyager which is staying with me.
The Lisa will follow me around the house from time to time.

Very much looking forward to hearing the Lisa and have a few anxious days
ahead waiting for it's arrival. I'm hoping this purchase will calm the urge to
upgrade for a while. Although I'm planning to add a MisterX M3 to the
collection very soon.

I'll let you know how the 750's and the Lisa get along once I get to spend
some time with them.

Cheers
Mike
