Leaving the SA1K behind? Slowly but surely you are minimizing down to what I find to be the best bang for the buck - the KSC-35!

Couldn't have said it better.
I think the first sign of finding your perfect headphone match is downgrading. KSC-35's are a perfect example, so is the MS-1. For me, it just doesn't get any better than budget perfection.

as I said before...I could live with the Rio karma and the Koss PortaPro2. I just prefer the SR-60 because the PP2 sounds a bit muddy and congested in comparison.
but it is an AWESOME headphone with plenty of brain numbing bass...
