Anyone have both a Karma and an Archos XS200 or AV series?

I currently have a Rio Karma, which is quickly running out of hard drive space. I'm thinking of either going with a second 20GB DAP (and separating my music by genres onto both units), or upgrading to a 40GB or higher DAP. Right now, I'm looking at either a second Karma, or the Archos XS200 for 20GB models, or the Archos AV3xx or AV4xx models for 40+GB. Anyone have experience with both a Karma and the newer Archos units that can compare them strictly from a sound standpoint (overall sound, volume, etc.)? I used to own an Archos Jukebox Recorder 20, which served it's purpose quite well (especially with Rockbox), but the Karma is noticeably better soundwize. If the newer Archos units have improved in sound quality (and judging by some opinions here, they have), I'd love to read some opinions from owners. Thanks.

If you search around a bit you should be able to find an article on how to mod the Karma with a new harddrive. That would probably suit your purposes. It's a bit of a hardcore mod, but if you can pull it off, it'll serve you admirably.

Thought about it (even have the page on my favorites list), but I'm not too confident in my modding skills. Maybe I'll go that route, but I'd like to exhaust other possibilites before I try to scale that wall. Plus, the Archos AV4xx's sure do look tempting, even if they are very expensive
