You can buy a decent Cardas mini to mini cable for $16, surely you can afford that? Just don't buy a few drinks when you go out

i didn't know about the cheap cardas cable...i'll check it out. my current mini to mini is a cheapo radio shack cable. i want something to go with my nice new equipment.

I'm confused. You spent $500 on a portable rig but you collect UE? Isn't that pushing it a bit?

no, it's not pushing it. i get about $2400 per month...all for just going to school. don't worry. but my ue expires soon..so i gotta get a job.
