I've had my mp3 player for a few years now, and i've been using the stock headphones that came with them, and then went with a few pair of random headphones from Target.

I believe my favorite pair was the Philips SHE9501. I really liked the sound of it, but the thing i found really annoying was the thin cable, and how the eadbuds would always pop right out whenever i broke out into a jog. However, the sound has always been my favorite out of all the headphones i have used.

However, i've recently decided to upgrade, and while looking at Bose in ear headphones, i've discovered that there are many other earbuds of better quality. However i'm stuck between a few choices.

Here are some that i was looking at:
The Creative Zen Aurvana
Creative Zen Aurvana Headphone reviews - CNET Reviews
Shure E4c
Shure E4c Headphone reviews - CNET Reviews
Ultimate ears Super.fi 5 Pro
Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro (black) Headphone reviews - CNET Reviews

Now, those are the ones that i was looking at, but i'm open to other suggestions. Some things that i want out of my earbuds is

1.I need them to be stable. I mostly listen to music while on the go.
2.Good Bass.
3.(perferably) Wires that don't tangle so easily.
4.Not too pricey. I'm looking to spend around 150ish, but i'm willing to go above that.

Please enlighten this newly awakened audiophile!

Well, it's hard to go wrong with Shure, but if you're looking for a lot of value, I've heard many good things about the Yuin Pk2's.

The Yuin PK1's are actually priced just above your limit; maybe that would interest you as well (though I must admit I have heard little about this set, I can only assume).

Mmm, they don't appeal to me. :\ Thanks though!
I'm either looking for earbuds or those regular (bigger) headphones. But i wouldn't want them to be DJ style, you know? Anyone else got any suggestions?

youir getting confused about what earbuds actually are, if you take a look at the yuin's they are earbuds, the others you have looked at are called IEM's (in ear monitors aka canalphones)

these have to be inserted far into the ear, so you will find they very rarely fall out and isolate sound very well (meaning they will send you a little deaf to the world when inserted properly)

the super fi 5 are great if you like a good bassy sound, they have 2 drivers in each earphone, a bass speaker and a tweeter for mids and highs.

the shure e4c are single driver, but many say they sound great but being single driver the bass is a bit light.

the aurvana's...well i havnt heard them but others opinions are poor

The Yuins (PK1, PK2, PK3) are EARBUDS. The look and work like the white iBuds that come with every iPod. They go in the outside portion of your ear, but not inside the ear canal. IEMs do that. Headphones sit outside of your ears, either on top or around them.

If you decide the earbuds are what you want, I don't think there is a better pair made than the PK1 (I think most would agree). They need to be amped. Otherwise, the PK2 and PK3 are better bets.

They look like UGLY DOGS and don't seem worth more than $5, but believe me, they sound great.

If it's not earbuds you want, then re-state and we can help again.

seeing that what you've listed are iems, i'll just assume that those are what you want. of the three you've listed, i've had the 5pro and currently have the e4c. the 5pro have a fuller sound with plenty of bass, while the e4c is more treble-based. i found the e4c to be more comfortable, but after doing the flip mod on the 5pro they worked for me just fine. they're both better soundwise than the zen, but i only had a five minute listen and no a/b ing so i can't say for sure.

if it's earbuds that you're looking for (on the outside of the ear, no isolation), i'd say go for the pk2.
