My wife has a little home-based biz, and now she wants to open an online store. She knows NOTHING about HTML and NOTHING about anything related to an online shopping cart. e.g. payment gateway, database.

She is looking to buy a shopping cart package to help her setup the store. I already picked out the provider (Aplus.net) and they support MySQL db and Oscommerence. (I think they also have MIVA merchant).

I guess the question is: can she just buy some shopping cart already designed/programed, and all she have to do is upload the whole thing (I will be doing that btw) and it will work? Ofcourse a slick administrative script is a must, if my wife will have any hope using it without bothering me (I am quite busy....u know..headfi is very draining on one's free time

I'm not familiar with that book, but I believe the topic is covered, at least in part, in the eBay Business for Dummies.

uh..bad title.

I am not looking for the book. I need some advise on buying a ready-made shopping cart so my wife can start populating the database and make some money

I've used OSCommerce and Zen-Cart before. I preferred OSCommerce by a huge margin.
