Anyone experience with "My USB Convertor"

Has anyone built and/or tested this USB Convertor kit?

The DIY Paradise designs are not great - standard datasheet schematics with generally bad layouts. As an example just looking at the above board; ground plane about the crystal (12MHz) is cut by a trace on the top. That said, an improvement on his previous designs...

Better to look elsewhere for an usb-digital output converter.
