So I've been looking for a new set of headphones. As I stated in my fist thread, where I got some recommendations. But one thing I waned to ask, is how does tinnitus affect your listening experience?

I have noise induced tinnitus at certain frequencies and pitches do to various incidents while in the military. I feel like it really affects me in terms of getting the best experience from my headphones.

So along with the music, I get a lot of buzzing in my ear.

Just wondered if there was anyone else with it, and did it affect your choice of headphones, or how you approach dealing with it?

There are some headphones with bright treble that aggravate my tinnitus--DT880. And yet Grados do not, even though they are known for strong treble. So I think you have to find headphones that suit your particular condition. Probably not a general rule that suits.
