Anyone else have this problem with e2c?

So before my e2c left ear bud started to have static noise and now my the wire on my earbud is slightly split. The wire is exposed because the black cover is cut. Should I get these repaired

Will they sew it up or send a whole new package?

Oh yeah, I've had mulitple pairs of E2Cs develop problems -- either shorts in the left channel or splitting of the cables. Contact Shure. They will replace them.
