Anyone else as offended as i am?

not really, as long as the relatives had their say over the design and words on the cards, i don't see the big deal. Although, that wouldn't be a business venture i would try to take on personally.

It's no more sickening than much of the other cashing in on the jingoistic flag-waving and bandwagon patriotism I've seen in the last year and a bit.

Also, I have been on the internet for years and years. I am unoffendable.

Remember that feeling, in the few months AFTER 9/11? How the country just seemed as ONE? No bickering, everyone just came together. In my short 16 years, this was one of the most amazing feelings ever. We're loosing that.

I think that feeling was mostly media hype IMHO.

I personally lost all ability to be shocked by people cashing in on the 9/11 incident when I saw a commercial about 2 months after the attack. The commercial was selling flags. And the announcer's voice had the same expression as the one who would be selling a miracle blender or an ab cruncher. Pretty tasteless, IMO.

feel offended when they go on Home Shopping Network. "now, signed packs for $100 per pack"....

and 50 years from now they'll probably fetch $10,000.

I did.

I think the cards are in poor taste, and typically American.
