Thanks

They are an Amazon reseller so they should be reliable but check out their buyer feedback on amazon and you always take you chances when you order anything. Buyer beware always.

Yes, I have had a positive experience with ipod mechanic. The original one they sent me started messing up after a while (I can't recall precisely how long but I think it was just over 30 days). They had me return it and sent me another that was fine. No hassle about receipts. To read more about them start at post #23 in this thread.

ok I feel better now thanks. There ebay feedback is questionable. So how was the SQ on the new one, is it as good as they say?

Thanks

the sound improved so much after burning it in for a few days. It was a little too bassy at first but now it's just perfect.

Burn in affects the shuffle? Or were you talking about the phones?

The IpodMechanic page re Shuffle deals.

http://ipodmechanic.com/Shuffle_Sale...FRIXZAodjhoPoQ It came up, but I have Google acct and it would not complete a transaction - so, since I have 3 browsers - tried all three, then rebooted.

Now the even ad. page is just GONE. ......meaning no more.

I ordered yesterday but didn't get a shipping notice. I hope I got it in on time.

I ended up copying the forwarded address, where it ended up in Opera.....then, using that address in Firefox. For me, nothing worked in I. Explorer. If I simply copying the posted link into Firefox.... the thing didn't work to completion........ A most unusual experience for me. I sure hope I end up with working merchandise. Reading the posts and links I get the idea they were horrible last year, and have now cleaned up their act. Time will tell.
