Hello.
I need advice about ety + portable cdp.
Sony's old cdp has a good sound and enough output.
But ety alwalys hard to drive.
I want to know e01, d777 or e900 can drive etys er4p or er6.
I already have Ipod + er4s combination.
But I need a good cdp to listen while studying.

p.s I don't want to take any amp with cdp+earphone.

Hi, I use my Ety's with iPod with no problems but I use either my 7506/Eggos or SR60 with the headphone out of the D-777.
IMO, the D-777 as good as the Headphone out is just don't have the juice to drive my 4S. To decently drive the 4S with the D-777 I have to employ my Headsave Mint through line out.

The best sounding (to me) portable combination that I own right now is the D-33 with ety ER4P.

The two complement each other. The is *plenty* of power.
