I have been a subscriber to Emusic for about a year now and have found the subscription price to be well worth it. The 128Kbps MP3s aren't the best quality but at least you can download as much as you want and it is a nice way to discover music. Emusic MP3s make up over half my computer music collection right now.

Anybody else in this place also find Emusic useful?

I have subscribed for several months and really like the service. While 128 is not the best, I do get to sample a wide range of artist and not have to worry about rights managment. In fact, I've ended up purchasing several CD's after downloading them and listening for a while.

Great selection on the Jazz, Blues, and World music side. If your looking for the latest bubble gum pop crap you won't find it there. For $9.99 per month it is a service that's hard to beat.

Only one other person? I figured there would be a few people here who have used to Emusic to help build their computer music collection, and to discover new music.

Here is another person. I have used EMusic but I didn't like the 128 bit rate enough to justify the cost. I got some good music there though. It's a great way to sample new stuff.
