I am on the verge of picking the LCD-3 as my primary headphone (thought I'd already made this decision). But the 560 has so much less listening fatigue. I think largely because of the weight of the headphones and clamp pressure around my ears.
Before I make the final decision I want to know if there's a way to reproduce the sound of my LCD-3 with Jazz. I can hear the air around the trumpet, the entry into and away from the notes on strings. I'm hearing the musical instruments - not a reproduced musical recording. I close my eyes hear the sounds of a smokey Jazz club.
So far I've only tried the Audeze Deckard & the Vali / Modi stack. Vali / Modi comes a little closer but when I put my LCD-3's back on there is still such a huge difference.
