Just came back from thier concert. Going by what the paper and the ads said, it looked like they were opening for Zebrahead since thier name was under Zebraheads' on all the papers/advertisements....which I thought was wierd.

So when I got there, I saw that they were actually the headliner (thankfully). Check out how close I was:

I was leaning up against the stage monitors....it was crazy. Sucks those are the only pics I got, but I was too busy enjoying the show.

Any other fans? Favorite band of all time, personally. Been a fan since Oz Factor. It's a shame they haven't made it uber huge...but it doesn't matter to me, they're still dope as hell.

No way....thier radio "jams" suck in comparison to thier better songs, like:

Cailin
Walrus
Actress Model
Mean Girl
Because of You
Shoulda Known Better

Most of hose songs are older...I liked them on Elva and older. Thier newer stuff is good, just not as hard. but still sick IMO.

I could go on, but in that genre...there isn't really much IMO. Greenday, I dunno why they made it big, they suck ass. I don't think they really fall in that pop-punk stuff, cause well, they're closer to rock. But on the release of all thier albums, they seemed to have bad timing with it being around a time when another HUGE band was releasing thier album, so it never got the exposure.

I like Greenday. I don't think they quite deserve the fame they have, they aren't the best by any stretch, but its still good stuff. I could say however, the are better than Unwritten Law.

I guess I am just not much for mainstream really. It's all about indie

Meh...to each thier own. I think they're only "better" than UL because of Dookie. Who really remembers any other albums of thiers? But musically...eh, I can listen to an entire UL CD and like every song. I can't do that wih 99% of music out there....especially other bands in thier genre.

haha walrus is a weird song name... but nothing challenges the mystical potato head groove thing

i used to like unwritten law a while back. Is it me or do some of their recordings have way too much bass?

^ Walrus is a funny name. And unless you listened to the lyrics, you'de wonder why they called it that....but it's an awesome song...

It was funny, all the songs that were played were on thier latest CD "The Hit List"....but when I went to a concert of theirs before the CD came out, half the songs they sang on it, nobody knew the words to them, and I was one of VERY FEW people singing along cause it was thier older stuff BEFORE Save Me or Seein Red...

Been a huge UL fan ever since I saw 'Holiday' on a local music video show (Video Diversity). I promptly bought the self titled album and wore it out. Now I've got all of their albums except for Blue Room (maybe I should buy that one?). I was able to see them in concert 2 summers ago and loved every minute of it.
