Any suggestions on a new wire stripper?

We had a group buy not to long ago for some really nice wire strippers that I had found on eBay. I think they went for as little as $5 apiece, but you had to buy them in a set of 10. Comparably, I think you'd have to spend at least $20 to get a stripper even close to as good as the ones we got. Maybe you (or someone experienced) should arrange another group buy, im sure they are still selling them on eBay.

@ colonelkernel8: do you remember what type of wire strippers you bought, so that we can see if they're still available? if anyone with experience does organize such a group buy, i might very well be interested in participating.

I love the Klein Kurve cutters/strippers that I have. They sell them at my local Home Deopt. I doubt it's the best price, but it's convenient. The handles are comfortable and have very thick padding. I've used them for hours a day in DIY stuff, wiring the electrical in my basement and even the entire electrical system of a robot.

Actually, has anyone seen a place that sells the 12 awg - 6awg model of the klein kurve strippers? 6 gauge is a pain to have to do with a knife all the time.

I have the straight versions, and like them plenty enough. I do wonder how much nicer those kurve versions are, they look comfortable.

Another issue that I have had with automatic strippers in general is they tend to go slightly out of spec and start nicking the conductor or not cutting deep enough. Yes, they usually do have an adjustment knob or something to that effect, but it annoyed me enough to not buy one after trying my friend's
