So I have a friend in Canada who owes me 340 dollars (long story). He said he will pay back by helping me pay for the Sony cd3000 which I want to get before this coming monday (school starting).

Problem is I emailed and ask some stores if it was possible for us to go through with it. Basically He would pay the 340 on the order and I would paypal whatever that is left. I wouldn't even attempt to do this if I have enough in the account. I asked him if he would just pay the the whole thing and I could send him the money and he doesn't want to. He can't paypal to me either because he just signed up and paypal requires him to wait for a bank statement.

I've never ran into this kind of problem before. Is it even possible for me to arrange this without knowing the store personally? I just don't want to wait another half a month for him to get his damn statement!

I've tried brainstorming and came up short of ideas.

Anyone here have some other ideas I could use in order for this to happen?

hey Darvy, i suggest u to try the BidPay... although they will charge a bit more than the paypal but i think it's worthy if u want the money fast...

I think this is my head telling me not to spend too much dough.. I guess I'll go for an HD600
