Just wondering if any players, preferably large hdd players, have coaxial or optical outs.

Just purchased a Beresford DAC and that would be really interesting.

The iRiver iHP-1XX series (iHP-115, iHP-120, iHP-140, etc.) offer optical output. They are discontinued, unfortunately.

You can get irivers on ebay easily. They are great players, I have the h140 and its brilliant.
