I'm not looking to change anything in my system because synergy is good now and I don't want to mess it up. I just want something to boost up the "enjoyment" of listening. I tried Brilliant Pebbles and it wasn't working, any ideas? How about that Clever Little Clock?

I found some links:

"The patient is a retired man who still does part-time work reviewing classical music. When interviewed at his home, he was affable enough but asked us to wait while he completed some adjustments to his stereo system. We observed him methodically taping a picture of a dog, a small rectangle of white paper with five pinholes in it and an aspirin tablet to the top panels of each of his loudspeakers. When asked why he was doing this, he simply smiled knowingly and said, ‘Listen to the sound.’

The patient’s wife said this was typical of his behaviour over the past few weeks. He had dismantled their expensive amplifiers and CD player, had smeared a mysterious white cream over their inner surfaces and had also attached small pieces of metal foils to the equipment’s cases.

Any ideas of what white cream I can use?

I don't want a subwoofer because I don't like to keep changing diapers from the brown notes.

I don't think it's placebo anymore. It's about EMI interfering with the human body which reduces the performance of the human senses. EMI entering the body will give worse hearing. Maybe EMI does something to the iron in the blood!

I'm going to buy EMI shielding clothing and try if it works. I will also find out if it increases the performance of my other senses. I will try it when riding bike to see if I can ride faster! Someone put ERS Paper into his race car and drove faster. I will try ERS Paper on top of my head first. There must be something to it, since people are already wearing tin foil hats.

How about a cloning experiment where you put one person into a shielded room and the other into a room full of EMI?

This is fascinating. Do take pics of you in your ERS Paper hat. You know, to give some of us an idea how to make the hat and all....

So... you want to spend money on something that does nothing but make you THINK your music sounds better? Why don't you just go grab some forks and stick them in your walls. Trust ME, the benefit to sonics is incredible.

I just want a taste of placebo to see what it's all about.

This is true, especially if you bang the forks into the wall using your forehead.

Just participate in a medical experiment, then you might get some if you are lucky.

I don't really consider Patrick a troll. Most trolls post things just to stir things up. Patrick has shown us over and over again that he truly believes. He's insane.

Oh, and an on topic reply. Placebo means by definition it does nothing. A Placebo working solely on its own merits is an oxymoron.
