I only hear and experience the best of things about it where there have been reviews or other people to talk to about it.. but not a lot of people, really. Just curious to see how many people around here even know what it is?

I had to part ways with my whole rig years back, but just found an unbelievably good deal for one of these on ebay while putting together a whole new rig. If nobody here really knows much about it, I can't recommend it enough.

I've listened to it before. Very nice for adding a bit of extra breathy-spookiness to female vocals, especially. I didn't think it paired so great with planars (or speakers with ribbon tweeters), but it was fantastic with warmer dynamics.

We'll have one on demo at our Head-Fi meet in Phoenix next weekend, for anyone in the area that may be interested in hearing it.
