So, uh, what the hell are those things that look like cords hanging off of them?

Hmm...it might not be so practical after all...after looking more closely at the specs it runs using infrared...which means you probably can't store the transmitter in your bag while you listen to the headphones...why didn't they use radio waves instead?

Not very sure...maybe they're cordless as a headphone set but the left and right channels still need to be connected using a wire?

I dont like the sound of this feature.

The base station recharges it? If so, I don't think it would be that portable.

A little more than that. I'm guessing they have batteries in one side and a receiver/amp in the other side.

Oof....I just imagined a AAA battery clipped to my ear, along with a driver and electronics. I'll pass.

Yeah...i guess we just have to wait for bluetooth sets...but they're sure to cost quite a bit more...
