It was at the nov NY meet next to the bling amp,I listened to it briefly, but that was right after listening to the Qualias on the Bling amp so I
really didn't pay much attention to the sound of it but thought it sounded OK.

Holy crap, I had no idea Mihail was working on this. I would be very much interested in what it sounds like (I even asked him at the NY meet that I would like to see a balanced SS product).

I believe the amp was out for only a little while during the meet, unasuming looking about the size of a GS1.
At one of the Grado meets mikhail had small solidstate prototype amp that now belongs to Highwaystar. That sounded pretty good as well.

He has a single ended and a balanced version built. Both use Mosfet output devices and both will use a seperate power supply. I think the only holdup is the chassis. Once he cases one up I get to beta test the single ended one against my GS-1.

Mosfet output devices have a very tubelike character. I use a class A mosfet based amp to drive my speakers. Class A mosfet's have a nice full bodied sound but are also very transparent.

I have long since said this. Just out of curiosity -- which speaker amp?
