Any news on a New Senn Flagship Model?

I figured that they must be due to launch an HD-700, etc.

Perform an advanced search for "HD700" in "titles only" and you'll find plenty of speculation threads about how it could or could not possibly be the next coming of Christ(in balanced form of course).

My inside source tells me they should be announcing it in Feb. 2007 and it will come in 50 and 100 GB. MSRP will be between $350 and $1200.

I have a better source it said will come in very early april 2007. Like the first day of that month and it will put the Edwood specially tweaked version of the Orpheus to shame

ok...... i will come clean with u guys, im the chief designer of the new hd700

im juz waiting for the go ahead from the my company's directive and they will be in production. up till now i cannot disclose any details on my designs. sorry.

So even the the chief designer at Sennheiser listens to Stax.

I don't see why you even bother designing the HD700

the o2's dont sound good with a cheap usb dac.

i am curious about the new senn though. perhaps it will sound more like a grado, that would be sweet.

i was doing the study on leather headbands to see if it improves the comfort and i feel it does =) (big hint on whats coming up in hd700)

I felt its a waste of $ buying the stax to feel its leather only, so i bought myself the complete rig to make the most out of it.
