the nba is the least interesting of the major american sporting events, IMO. you don't get the upsets that you do in football and baseball...and the nba playoffs are awful.
however, i'll watch certain teams and players...want to see how the rockets do with adelman's offense. heard yao is having a bit of a hard time picking it up. always root against the lakers.

basketball, IMO, is the most exciting sport to watch... always something interesting to see! especially run-n-gun teams like the suns... or players like kobe or lebron
oh, and you know what's boring? baseball. not only to watch, but also to play. i dont get how baseball fans can complain about how football is "you wait 30 seconds for 5 seconds of action." baseball is like, wait 10 min, get 30 seconds of action. seriously, i can just watch 1 minute of the highlighted hits/strikeouts and i'm done.
of course, this comes from someone who only regularly watches football =DDD

Dallas was a 67 win team, the #1 seed in the playoffs. They had one of the best seasons in the history of the NBA and they were eliminated by a team that went 42 and 40. It's considered one of the biggest upsets in the history of sports, not just basketball.
