i was expecting some kind of ridiculous complicated problem here when i came in here :p

that question however is pretty stupid. but weighing it is quite the creative solution

Paper with ink weighs more than paper without ink and the glue method probably wouldn't be a good idea unless you were able to apply the glue completely evenly. If you want a more accurate result, you'd probably want to edit the image so that the blackened area is white and outlined in black or gray.

or you can just print the original once and then edit the image to switch the black and white and then compare.

I'd hate to do the error propagation on the paper cutting, especially doing it 20x
