I have audiophile-grade headphones(Hifiman He-400I); unfortunately, I can't seem to find high grade soundtrack for Mass Effect that would go nicely with those.

As any audiophile knows, every flaw can be heard at lower bitrate, while at higher the sound is out of this world.

One soundtrack in particular I would like to have at 320kbs - Vigil.

You're only feeding your HE400i mp3 files? You should definitely get into lossless (flac, wav, or DSD). Much more detail and better dynamics. 24/192 flac will blow any 320kbps out of the water, and it'll have bitrates more in the neighborhood of 900. DSD on the other hand, has sampling rates in the megahertz range and bit rates hovering around 5,000.
Congrats on your headphones though! It's definitely worth finding better files to let those 400i shine

Of course I would do that, if I could find them.

Finding regular mp3 files above 160kbps is already a stretch.

I'm not saying you should torrent the countless flac and dsd files from piratebay. Of course I'm not advocating that. Even though it's very easy to find 900kbps flac versions of almost any song on that site, forum mods wouldn't like if I told you to do that. So here is me telling you not to do that. Some people just don't understand that downloading BitTorrent and searching piratebay for flac files is shamed on this site. How dare they easily fill up multiple terabytes of storage with free flac files. I definitely dont do that. I overpay for my music because songs are definitely worth a dollar a piece. I already bought the HD650 with a nice setup, it only makes sense that I spend more money on music than I did on my entire setup. I'm so glad I don't have 3tb of torrented flac and dsd albums just sitting comfortably on my desktop hard drives. That would be awful right?

I have an eclectic taste in music, so I can't find anything there.

Things like Mediaeval Baebes, Enya, Star Wars Imperial March dub, Cyber Tranquility, Kraftwerk, etc.

I currently like this one the best, it's so emotionally engaging.

I found plenty of Enya and Kraftwerk in flac format there, maybe your search terms are too specific?

I just managed to finally find my favorite from Enya -Caribbean Blue, it's 899kbps.
And holy crap, what a huge difference!
Why didn't anyone tell me about this before?? It's like a completely new world of sound!

I'll have to redo my entire library now. Btw, I use VLC player for all of them, is that good?
(if anyone has good compilation torrents, PM me)

Most of us here use Foobar2000. It's not the most user friendly option but once you get past that, it's absolutely perfect with so many great options. It can play just about any format you have and is essentially the "audiophile's standard" which everything else is compared to. I shall send a pm as well

I prefer Media Monkey, but if you can get used to Foobar2000 its a good one too.
Lossless is a better option than 320kbs mp3 files in many cases, however a lot of it also has to do with the mastering of said album/songs,not to mention when youre grabbing them from illegal sites you run the risk of viruses and to a less worrying degree, crappy rips of music. :(

Viruses aren't a problem as long as you check the files before downloading, they can't hide a virus in a .flac format so as long as you uncheck any .rar or weird .txt files you'll be fine.

Buy the vinyl version of the soundtrack (available still I think) and feed to phono amp that feeds to sound board for mixing, that feeds to digital recorder. I did this for a few records, and it works surprisingly well.
