Any major differences between Sony DNE series?

Are you from europe, or elsewhere? Sony seems to be one of the very worst companies for implementing euro-crippling, so that could mean that its just not worth buying anything from them when you have other competitors with similar products (iRiver and the like) that don't have such major restrcitions.

i think he meant that you better off buying the player from out of europe since they restrict the headphone out to something like 3mw per channel so it cant power any headphones very well.

as for the difference, i am not sure. ask eagle_driver. he made a rmaa benchmark that show the newest dne models having a flatter frequency graph then the previous models.
