Amazon shot up to 199 and I am scared of buying used because of voided warranty does anyone know how often the price fluctuates?  I would love to find them new for around 160 and Ebay scares me as I do not know if there are fakes of these models around?

Heya,

These are from the Amazon Warehouse, they're an authorized dealer. The warranty will still be good. $160 prime shipped.

But if you're that worried about the warranty, spend $30 more for the warranty.

Again, I got mine from a raffle, gave them to a friend, they got broken, I emailed customer support at Vmoda, didn't have proof of purchase, they still replaced them.

Just get a pair and enjoy them. If you can't afford to lose them, then don't get them, or anything that expensive, in the first place. Get some $30 Panasonic HTF600's if money is an issue.

Very best,

^This. Spring for one of the $169 options that are in Very Good condition-it's probably worth the extra $5 over the ones in Good condition. As far as warranty-take care of M80s and I could hardly see you ever having problems with them. I have trashed cheapo Sonys for a few years now and they still work perfectly, so if the M80s are built a whole lot better it would be rare to have problems with them. That said, nothing is guaranteed so if you do have issues V-Moda has excellent support.
