So, I just got my KSC-35's and since they'll soon be enshrined in the museum of discontinued headphones(I see them on a pedestal at Bill and Ted's Wyld Stallions College for Kick Ass Music), I want to protect them as much as possible. I've had two Sportapro's previously: One had the wire cut, the other had the wire pulled out of the right pad.
Has anyone here done any projects to reinforce either the cord or the connection for the wire into the speakers themselves?
I was thinking of simply wrapping the cords with electrical tape and maybe sticking a dab of that black silicone goo where the cord leads into each pad.
Anyone here have any suggestions, cautionary tales, etc..?
thanks,
J
