I picked up some of these Rediopaqs for a £10.....they're something...... different !
As has been written elsewhere, the bass is deep, clear, and heavy. I like my sound this way, but even I know its on the heavy side - but i should stress it remains crystal clear. However, beyond that, it all starts to unravel a little bit. They are not without detail and describe the percussion through the frequency range with some accuracy - but the presentation is to my ear very clumsy. Things tend to sound like they are in wrong place, positionally, spatially and the result is a slightly muddled image.
With uncomplicated productions, they fair much better. If you can imagine the traditional 4 piece band on a small stage - drums at the back, lead guitar to the left, vocal front and bass to the middle-right, they handle such arrangements with authenticity. However, the relatively complex spatial positioning options available to modern producers and engineers are not interpreted at all well.
Let's be clear - at £10 if you can get them, you must add them to your collection. Even if it's just to grow your experience with IEMs - they have unique and valid signature that is a useful reference point. It's obvious that some thought, design and yes 'tuning' has gone into building them, but overall they lack the ability to faithfully reproduce music as the producers intended.
I'm glad I own them and would buy again, but for £50 I'd expect more honesty and neutrality.
