I am trying a Virtual Dynamics power cord (Basic Power) with my Cambridge D500 SE. On loan from Grancas, thank you. It does improve the sound. Smoother and fuller. I was kind of surprised I could hear any difference. This cable is so damn thick and stiff. It almost lifts the back of the deck up. I would never be able to use it with my headphone rack set up. So any "budget" power cords that might hav some bend?

Cardas Twinlink-A Power. That is a very flexible power cord, and I had good results with it.

The only other power cord I tried by Cardas is the Cardas Golden Reference Power -- that is less flexible than the Twinlink-A, but it isn't really a budget cable.

I would imagine that the power cables in between -- except maybe the Golden Cross Power -- are also quite flexible.

I had just found some info on the Cardas Twinlink. Looks interesting. Now just need a Cardas dealer.
