If i'm not mistaken theres quite alot in this forum interested with this amp, and bought it....

but i think there's not much comments how is it going, the sound and how it's compare with other amps (i know there are, i've been looking on "search" but still finds it not enough..)

..since the price looks good for tube starting, I really interested with it...

please, let me (us) know more...

thanks

The cyber-20 has a cleaner, faster sound than the Head DT. I have replaced the stock EL84s w/ Sovteks. I am trying to land a Bugle Boy for the 12AU7. The build quality is waaaaaaay better than the Head. I like the super thick midrange I get from the Head, so I am trying to get a some more midrange w/ the Bugle Boy ( if I can score one)
I dont think that many actually bought this amp.

so, it's good then...I'm thinkin to get X-can before (since I have OBH-11 already) but even it might be good with HD-600, I sure from many post it seems having all the 'problem' with other headphones...

..so far, I will use it with HD-600, K501 and MS-1...and really wants to know the tube sounds like, and the ability to experiment with other tubes...on the otherhand, X-can some say sounds like SS amp...

..I contacted dealer in HK, and offer about 2600HK...I'm planning to get it end of this months..

btw, how much usually price range for tube "upgrading"? just the range that people usually use...and what type and brand?

Thanks

Do a search in the tube forum at Audioasylum. That will give you alot of opinions. Prices range anywhere from $5 for new production to $30+(USD) for popular NOS.

It is a SS amp -- actually, it's a hybrid. And it sounds like it. If you want to "go tube", this is not the reason to get this amp.
